Day 31 in Tianjin 07/04/2011

Today is the last day that we will be in the university. Had final presentation in the morning which I think that all of us did a great job. In the evening, there is a closing ceremony and a gift presentation. The scenario is very touching as even though we just meet with the local students for merely 5 weeks, but the feeling and bond between all of us are very strong. This show how fast people can bond with each other. After the ceremony, we went to a school restaurant to have dinner together. In summary, I feel a little regretful of not knowing them earlier. I still remember the first time we and our china buddy met, all of us were like having a ice in between us. Therefore, there’s a learning point here, don’t do anything that will cause one to regret.

Day 30 in Tianjin 06/04/2011

Went to the acrobatic town today, WuQiao. Firstly, I like to reflect on being late today. This is the first time. I think that it fully my fault for working so late, and waking up late which sort of delay the time of this trip. I promise I won’t let this happen again. Sorry once again. So the trip took about 3 hours, and the place gave me a feeling like everybody know some skills in there, no matter is magic or street performance. Went around and watched different performance. This is the part which I feel a little bit sad, which is a tiger. This tiger fangs were plucked up, or rather smoothen, and it serve the purpose of taking photo with visitors only. This is sad as think in the tiger shoe, they should be showing their brave charm rather than being control by the people, who will whip them. Damn sad. And at the circus performance, it’s consist of young adults and the young ones, maybe like 10 or younger, performing in front of all the audience. Although some mistakes were made, but still enjoy the show. But for them, they could get scolding from their trainer after everyone was gone. This shows how fortunate we are, as we get to enjoy ourselves in freedom, compare to them, who start to perform in young age. Therefore, gonna stop complaining and cherish my freedom..

Day 29 in Tianjin 05/04/2011

Today, another stay in class day. Everyone in the class are rushing their IS presentation that due on Thurs. Looking everyone rushing their work really made me rush my work too. In the past, I will just take my own sweet time before I sense the urgency. This is the advantage of working and studying together. As time is very important to me now, I shall make it short, hope you don’t mind. This trip is coming to the end, but I’m sure, the friendships that will built here will last forever!

Day 28 in Tianjin 04/04/2011

Today, spending whole day in class doing IS stuff. It’s such a long time since everybody in class were doing their own stuff quietly, although is just sorting out files. This week is going to be a packed one with IS thing to finish. Feel that I didn’t do well for the Appg final test. Maybe feel too confident after the first paper. As olds say, proud and fall, 骄兵必败. Therefore, one should not be proud even if you are confident. That all…

Day 26 in Tianjin(last day in Beijing) 02/04/2011

Conquer The Great Wall today, ok la, not all of it. I swear the step is damn steep, but the other part is steeper! Lols. Spent 2 hours to climb up and back down again. But it’s a pleasant experience though. During the climbing, realise that although it is possible for one to climb individually, but doesn’t climbing it in pair or even group be more fun and easier. This reflect on our normal life too. In work, it is possible for one to complete his or her work by themselves, but isn’t it be easier if that is more than a person to complete one work, make it faster. This shows how teamwork is very important, in every aspect of our life. Actually, i feel that Beijing is not only the capital of China, but also the pole of China, not because the political view, but is like when you want to know bout China, first you must know Beijing! That how I feel after spending 3 days there, although is not enough even if I did visit this great city before. I believe there is more things in this city for us to discover. After that, went for lunch and back to Tianjin. Went to the TianTa for first time but didn went up because it’s reaching the closing time. On the way there, share lots of stuff and get to know each other more. I’m sure everybody feeling is same as mine, WE ARE DAMN BONDED NOW!

Day 25 in Tianjin (now in Beijing) 01/04/2011

Went to Forbidden City today. It’s huge and packed with tourists, obviously. Along the way, the guide was explaining all the history of each building, and got to know that the importance of the building is depend on the amount of animal that got on their roof. It’s amazing. And got to know how their transport the stone that they craved for in front of the main office of the emperor, they actually dig the ground for the water hidden to raise, and freeze it. This help them as they make use of the zero friction of this ice to transport the stone. Damn smart. Went to TianAn Men and a old street nearby after our lunch. The street is full of old building, but with modern shop like Starbucks. The design is mixture of past and future, which is innovative in a sense. Went to have an early dinner instead and went back to hotel. As I saw those police guarding those important building, they are standing straight without any movement, really didn’t move an inch of their leg. That show how organise and discipline they are in a way..
